Homepage and Media

Tasks:

Obtaining interesting (background) information from the different departments and editing them for designing the home page (at the backend with Joomla CMS). Publishing news. Maintance of the intern wiki, file exchange, mailing lists and other IT stuff. Updating photos, contact with media, help out the PR-team. Weekly investment of about 4 h (including meetings).

 

Requirements:

Good knowledge of German, reliability, autonomy, knowledge of Office, possibly already some knowledge of webhosting, regular IT mantaince works, participation in meetings (every second Wednesday).

 

Time frame: Immediately

Member of the Public Relations

Working on our publication „Info bulletin“ together with the PR team (define contents, reading and revising articles, choosing photos and graphics, matching text and image, sending out printed publications), rearranging information material, planning and coordinating (street) activities, designing and implementing fund raising events, sending out donation receipts, learning to handle computer programmes.

 

Requirements:

Autonomy, reliability, regular participation in meetings (normally every second Wednesday).

 

Time frame:

Immediately

Research concerning fund raising possibilities in India

Gathering information about possibilities for fund raising activities directly in India. Possibly making contact with other NGOs in India. Preparing a fundraising concept in collaboration with our partner organisation in Kolkata.

 

Requirements:

Good knowledge of English, reliability, autonomy, if possible, experience with concept preparation and fundraising.

 

Time frame: Immediately.

Member of the Executive Board

Tasks:

Familiarising with current affairs of Calcutta Project Basel, discussion and backing of ballots, working out visions and plans for the future, communicating with the Foundation Board of our partner organization, communicating with the departments. Management.

 

Requirements:

Good knowledge of German and English, reliability, autonomy, Office knowledge, regular participation in meetings (every second Tuesday), sense of responsibility, collaboration during at least 3 years, weekly investment of about 5 h (including meetings).

 

Time frame:

Participating in meetings of different departments to get an overview of the activities, gradual familiarisation with Foundation Board during the following six months.
